Our Top 7 Favorite Wellness Podcasts

If you have ever heard the phrase “you are what you eat”, then you might also know that this sample idea extends to what we listen to! Yup - you are the sum of what you consume on social media. We always try to make sure we are spreading intentional and thoughtful things on Copina Co, which is why we thought we would share some of our favorite wellness podcasts. Below is a mix of science-based, feel-good-based, and other types of podcasts. They all have a variety of styles which is nice because then none of their information gets stale or boring.

1. The Huberman Lab

The Huberman Lab is great if you like a good mixture of science and wellness. Dr. Huberman is a professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. His podcast is separate from his work at Stanford but follows a science-backed approach to health and wellness. He has great episodes on sleep health and other topics. He usually speaks on free or low-cost options to optimize your health through his work or readings. Do not be turned off listening to the Huberman Lab because you’re afraid of being overwhelmed by scientific jargon. Dr. Huberman does a great job making the content digestible and straightforward.

2. What Fulfills You?

What Fulfills You is a great podcast hosted by Emily Elizabeth Duong who posts weekly about a wide array of topics. All the topics usually revolve around how to help make your life fulfilling through things like balance, meaningful relationships, your career, and health & wellness. We actually have an episode out with Emily where we spoke about all things gut health, collagen supplements, and Carolyn’s journey through holistic health. Emily’s podcast is great because it dives into topics that do not just pertain to physical health and wellness, but also mental and emotional wellness too!

3. Plantfull Life

Plantfull Life is another great example of a podcast that embodies both health and wellness through a soulful lens. Host Stephanie Dianne brings her intimate knowledge into the mix as she shares her plant-based journey with her guests. She covers topics like mindfulness, biohacking, nutrition, and how to live a vibrant and happy life. Just a few days ago, our episode with Plantfull Life came out where we got to discuss acne and herbal medicine. We loved getting the chance to talk about plant medicine and how much of an impact it has made on our products at Copina Co.

4. Feel Better, Live More with Dr. Rangan Chatterjee

This podcast is all about simplifying the noise that surrounds health and wellness nowadays. Dr. Rangan Chatterjee brings in health experts and other people to offer up their version of health hacks and expert advice to break down common health myths. He talks about all things eating, sleeping, movement, and relaxation. I personally have enjoyed learning about the relaxation component which is often forgotten about in the wellness discussion and what true rest and relaxation means. His motto of the podcast is “When we are healthier we are happier because when we feel better we live more.”

5. Ten Percent Happier with Dan Harris

The story behind this podcast is rather interesting. Dan is a journalist who had a panic attack on live television which led him to try meditation. His book 10% happier is what sprouted from this occurrence. He is working through the idea that happiness is a skill you can train, just like the muscles you build at a gym. It is an investment that accrues over time. Through interviews and other episodes, he works on what this muscle consists of and how we can also work towards being happier people.

6. The Skinny Confidential Him and Her Podcast

The Him and Her podcast is interesting because of the wide array of guests and viewpoints hosts Lauryn Evarts Bosstick and Michael Bosstick get on the show. They talk things about wellness, entrepreneurship, mindset, and even pop culture at times. The show is often light-hearted and comical but can have some great wellness guests like Dr. Huberman. You can guess which topic will be discussed based on the title of the show and the guest’s expertise.

7. The Feel Good Podcast with Kimberly Synder

Kimberly’s podcast is a great encircling of all things wellness. She aims to cover topics that will help you promote a lifestyle that encompasses wholeness and healing in your health journey. She gathers really fun guests that are experts in spirituality, beauty, and personal empowerment among other things. If you ever have specific questions for her you can also participate in the Q&A segment that she has on Thursdays. The goal is to feel good and she helps give you the tools that will do so!
