Matcha is a great source of energy, providing more caffeine than regular steeped green tea, but a little less than a cup of coffee. On average, one teaspoon of matcha provides about 70mg of caffeine. However, unlike coffee, matcha is rich in the amino acid L-Theanine, which has been shown to help delay the body’s absorption of caffeine, resulting in an increase in alertness, less anxiety or jitters, and less likelihood of a caffeine crash.*

Vegan Strawberry Milk Matcha Latte

Vegan Strawberry Milk Matcha Latte

Ingredients

Matcha
  • 1 scoop or 1 stick pack Matcha Plant-Based Collagen Boost Latte Blend
  • 2 oz warm water
Strawberry Milk
  • 1 cup plant milk (we like oat)
  • ¼ cup chopped strawberries - frozen works well
  • 1 tbsp sugar, agave or honey
  • A couple drops of natural red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all of the strawberry milk ingredients to a blender and blend on high until well-combined.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and discard any lumps.
  3. Froth strawberry milk with a hand-held frother until light and foamy.
  4. Stir or froth together Matcha Collagen Boost with warm water.
  5. Pour strawberry milk over matcha mixture, add ice, and enjoy!
