This is a go-to recipe for when you’re looking to switch up your morning or afternoon pick-me-up and will totally remind you of kicking it back at the beach. Get creative and play with whatever fruit is in season, this recipe is super forgiving so have fun and play around with your fruit choices!

Ingredients Need to Make a Watermelon Matcha Latte

1/2 cup cubed watermelon

2 tsp Copina Co. Plant-based Matcha Beauty Collagen Powder

1/4 cup plant milk of choice (optional)

Ice:

1/2 cup hot water

How to Make a Watermelon Matcha Latte

First, if using fresh watermelon cut into small chunks and blend in a blender. If using frozen, skip this step and blend frozen watermelon with a small splash of water.

Blending will create a smoother texture (that won’t get stuck in your straw), the longer you blend the smoother the consistency will be. For a more boba-like drink only pulse watermelon a few times.

When making a layered drink, the layer with the most sugar (although natural) goes on the bottom. Pour watermelon mixture at the bottom of your glass then pour ice and milk on top. If not using milk, simply blend more watermelon or double your matcha mixture.

Next, to create a smooth matcha whisk Matcha Beauty with hot water until completely dissolved and no visible clumps remain. We recommend blending with a hand frother or vigorously stirring with a whisk.

With the sweetness of the watermelon, no added sugar is needed although you could add tsp if you desire.

Top your glass off with matcha mixture, stir with a straw, and enjoy!
