How to: Vegan Coffee Creamer

Sometimes scanning the walls at the grocery store for a new coffee creamer can be hard, but that’s why we are here. Over here at Copina Co. we crave our AM coffee and matcha, so it is no wonder we have a vegan coffee creamer recipe we stand by. Plus, our’s makes our skin glow, does yours?

Our vegan coffee creamer recipe can be used in matcha, coffee, or other teas to add a splash of creaminess. It is pretty simple and can be done in a few different ways so feel free to make it special for you.

You can always use our collagen support creamers as stand-alone add-ins to your coffees or teas, like a splash of almond milk in your drink. Or you can mix them with milk beforehand to create a thicker creamer to add in!

We have two different variations of our vegan coffee creamer, one with our Original Vegan Collagen Support blend and one with our Vanilla Vegan Collagen Support blend. The only difference is one is not sweetened (the Original) and is mainly to add a thick and creamy texture to your drink while the other is sweetened with a hint of vanilla! Both contain all the benefits of our vegan collagen support blend which includes ingredients like Tremella Mushroom, Amla Berry, and Biotin.*

Here is a snapshot of our blend’s main collagen-boosting ingredients:*

  • Amla Berry - been used in Ayurvedic herbal preparations, an ancient natural form of medicine that has been in practice for over 5,000 years. This berry is an antioxidant powerhouse rich in vitamin-c, vitamin-b, calcium, iron, and beta-carotene. *
  • Biotin - aka vitamin B7- is an essential water-soluble B vitamin that helps fuel many intricate pathways in the body. It’s critical for our daily utilization of fats, carbohydrates, amino acids (like those found in collagen), and energy (ATP).*
  • Bamboo Leaf Extract - a rich source of silica, a naturally occurring mineral found in plants, which supports the body's collagen production as well as healthy hair, skin, and nails. Silica-rich bamboo has been used in Indian Ayurvedic medicine and Chinese herbal medicine for centuries as a remedy to heal skin ailments, relieve congestion, promote bone health, and more.*
  • Tremella Mushroom-  our beauty mushroom shares some properties with hyaluronic acid, primarily its ability to boost skin hydration and pull moisture into the skin, plumping its appearance and fighting signs of aging thanks to its gelatinous structure.* Tremella mushrooms can hold up to 500 times their weight in water. Even better, the tremella mushroom is high in natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatory.
  • Hyaluronic Acid- has been shown to help boost natural collagen production in the body and to help the skin attract and retain moisture, which can help mitigate signs of aging, such as smoothing wrinkles, boosting skin’s elasticity, firmness, and radiance (aka that #CopinaCoGlow!).*
  • Gotu Kola- Can help with calming inflammation, encouraging the production of collagen, acting as an antioxidant, and improving skin hydration (just to name a few).

We personally love mixing our original or vanilla collagen support blends with our favorite nut milk in order to make a frothy creamer to add to our lattes and drinks. Sometimes in order to spice it up or to make it sweeter we add things like maple syrup, vanilla extract, or peppermint extract to add a little flavor!

The best part about our collagen support creamer recipe is that you can add anything to it and really make it yours. You can make a London fog or add it to your drip coffee. Every sip contains the power of plant botanicals that can help support your hair, skin, and nails.* Imagine having your daily cup of caffeine and knowing it could help you glow from within.
