Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie for Health

Craving a delicious sweet treat that is completely vegan and collagen supporting? If so, you’ve come to the right place! We have been making this Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie using our Vanilla Beauty Plant-Based Collagen Support Creamer for days, and we are still obsessing over it! It’s the perfect guilt-free sweet treat with just the right amount of smooth, tanginess that will have you wanting more! This recipe not only tastes exactly like a slice of blueberry cheesecake, but it also helps support collagen from all angles thanks to the addition of our Vanilla Beauty Plant-Based Collagen Support Blend.

Our Vanilla Beauty Blend fits perfectly in this smoothie for its hint of sweetness and extra creaminess. If you are looking to tone down the sweet flavor, you can also substitute our Vanilla Beauty Blend for our Original Beauty Blend. Both of our vegan creamer blends are made with coconut milk, so you won’t miss out on the smooth creaminess within this recipe no matter which one you reach for!

All of our Vegan Collagen Support Blends have a unique, herbalist approved and lab-tested blend of plant botanicals that have proven to be effective at boosting and supporting your body’s natural collagen production process. Collagen is a protein naturally produced by the body and is a main structural component of skin, cartilage, bones, and connective tissue. Healthy collagen levels means healthier hair, skin, and nails - powered by plants.

We use ingredients like tremella mushroom, amla berry, and gotu kola to help your body's collagen synthesis which also can result in some amazing beauty benefits. Here are a few quick facts about some of the ingredients found in our blends:

Tremella Mushroom-  also known as the beauty mushroom is known primarily for its ability to boost skin hydration and pull moisture into the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid- has been shown to help boost natural collagen production in the body and to help the skin attract and retain moisture. This helps reduce and prevent signs of aging such as smoothing wrinkles, boosting skin’s elasticity, firmness, and radiance.

Gotu Kola- can help with calming inflammation, encouraging the production of collagen, acting as an antioxidant, and improving skin hydration.

Bamboo Leaf Extract: has been used in Ayurvedic medicine and Chinese herbal medicine for centuries as a remedy to heal skin ailments and can also replenish lost collagen and improve skin health.

This Blueberry cheesecake recipe is simple, versatile, and appeals to the masses! Here are the ingredients needed to make this masterpiece of a smoothie:

Blueberries: With their well known vibrant blue color and sweet-tart flavor, blueberries are not only a treat for the taste buds but also a nutritional powerhouse. They are packed with antioxidants, vitamins and are high fiber, promoting overall well-being.

Frozen Banana: Banana is good in smoothies because it adds natural sweetness and helps give the smoothie its creamy texture. Bananas are not only a popular fruit for its very distinct taste, but it also provides a steady source of energy and is rich in potassium.

Honey: To really get that blueberry cheesecake feel of this smoothie, we added in some raw honey for an even sweeter flavor profile. Afterall, cheesecake is pretty sweet on its own so we thought we would tune into that! Honey is also filled with antioxidants, making it an easy and  nourishing addition to your daily diet.

Coconut Cream: This smoothie recipe is all about adding in ingredients that closely remember the taste and texture of an actual cheesecake. If you want to go all in and achieve that to die for creamy texture and rich flavor reminiscent of cheesecake, add in a dollop of coconut cream to your smoothie. Coconut cream is derived from the flesh of mature coconuts and is rich in healthy fats. These fats are easily absorbed by the body and provide a quick source of energy, making coconut cream a yummy and nutritious component to our Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie.

Almond Milk: Last but not least, is your plant-based milk of choice! We chose to add in almond milk to this recipe for its subtle nutty flavor, but there are plenty of other lactose-free options like oat milk or coconut milk.

As you all know we LOVE our smoothie recipes here at Copina Co, but as always, you are more than welcome to sneak in any extra fruit or veggies into this recipe that your heart desires! Feeling an avocado in there? Go for it! How about some protein powder? Of course! Some blackberries? Be our guest! This recipe is yours to personalize!
