We love making a large batch of our vanilla beauty yogurt bark to snack on during the day or as our sweet treat at night (something we often look forward to). It is easy to make and full of skin-boosting nutrients. It pairs amazing with our cacao calm vegan collagen support blend, which tastes like a grown up hot chocolate!
You'll start by combining your vegan yogurt of choice and our vanilla vegan collagen support blend. When picking your yogurt out, make sure to look at the ingredients. If you want a low-sugar bark, aim for a no sugar added yogurt. If you want your bark to be a very sweet treat, it is okay to find a vanilla or chocolate sweetened plant-based yogurt. You'll take your yogurt and collagen support blend mixture and spread it onto a pan that is covered in parchment paper. The parchment paper is important so your bark easily comes off!
Adding in our vanilla vegan collagen support blend will also add a hint of sweetness and vanilla. Our vanilla collagen blend is sweetened with monk fruit, so it will not add any sugar to your yogurt. Our vegan collagen blends come with ingredients like bamboo leaf extract, amla berry, and tremella mushroom to give skin-boosting benefits to your yogurt bark!
Our plant botanicals in all of our collagen-boosting blends are there to help support your collagen production from within.* The ingredients we chose help work with your body's own collagen, naturally supporting the process.*
Next you will take your jam of choice, we use blueberry jam, and spread it into the yogurt to make swirls. If your jam is too thick to swirl, add a splash of water into it to thin it out and make it easier. If you want to try making your own jam for the recipe, we have a delicious strawberry rhubarb chia jam! You'll then add in blueberries and pecans into the bark. You can choose your favorite berries and nuts to add into the bark based off the jam you choose to add. Feel free to get creative with your creation! If you do make this recipe, show us on instagram!
To top everything off we like to melt some dark chocolate and drizzle it onto the top of our yogurt. Once that is done, you'll leave your bark in the freezer for at least three hours or until the yogurt is fully frozen.
You can then break the bark into pieces. Store in a cool place, like the freezer to help maintain the bark texture.
